Name - Shadwell, it means "from the shed spring"-- she calls him Shad. 
Animal - Tunneler (Vole)
Gender - Male, He-Vole
Appearance - Shadwell is a round and fuzzy vole, he has a thin black tail, big black eyes, a dark nose, and a dark brown body. His paws are a darker brown, and his round little ears are a lighter brown. Contrary to his looks, he's not chunky or anything, he's just very hairy and the vole has longer fur than most. He has good eyesight as well, and like all voles, is a great tunneler.
Personality - Shadwell is a no-play, serious, quiet vole, who's very lazy and often just rests on Fiorella's head, tail, or shoulder. Shadwell isn't bothered by anything, either, including other cats, and Shadwell is very curious too. (That's one of the only reasons he'll move, besides tunneling.) He knows of her shyness too, and sometime's he'll nip to encourage her to do something bold.

Soul Perception || Psychic || 0/5 || Description - When in use, the user can read another cat's personality and mood by seeing the cat's soul's wavelengths. Most commonly used by psychics, but can be used by dark elementals.

Domesticate || Psychic || 1/5 || Description - What almost all tamers have if they don't have a knack for taming animals, the user is given the ability to influence a companion's actions more easily than a normal cat by using soul wavelengths that can control how the companion interprets things.

Projection || Psychic || 1/5 || Description - When in use, this allows the user to stay in one place with their body, but can travel the world with their mind. Most cats can not see the projection unless the user is experienced and wants other cats to see their projection.

Teleportation || Psychic || 1/5 || Description - Allows the user to disappear from one place and reappear in another. When first starting off, most cats can only reappear in places they can see, but more experienced cats can teleport to places they have been before (if they can clearly remember what it looked like, and how to get there if they were to walk).

Harmless - "I'm sorry I couldn't catch that mouse! I just...couldn't kill it."
Fiorella just can't hurt anything, or kill anything either. That's why she couldn't be a Hunter. Not only does she love animals, but she just wouldn't be able to kill an animal or fight other cats over prey! She doesn't know any harmful spells, and she hardly knows how to fight. She's also not at all defensive or offensive, and she could never chase off a trespasser or anything. She's very gullible and knowingly lets other cats walk over her. How is this harmless trait a good trait, then? Cats know she'd never hurt them. She often is a source of comfort to all cats, simply because she won't yell or hurt them, no matter what. Violence is a no-no for her, and she does her best to avoid any fights and to prevent fights for other cats, especially those of her own blood or cats of the East Region.

Kind-Hearted - "I-I know you really like this kind of flower...s-so I picked a few for you..."
Fiorella is really considerate, generous, and friendly...even if she may not come off that way. She's very caring and loving, and even more loving if you're close to her. She big-hearted too, and even though she says to prefer animals over felines (which may be sort of true!), she doesn't mind the company of other cats and is sympathetic towards everyone. Along with her sympathetic nature, she's also very selfless. She'll put herself last, everyone is allowed to go before her, everyone is worth more than her. She's very self-disciplined and pretty polite, too. Just all and all a good cat. A little on the quiet side, but a good girl. And when she opens up to you and gets over her self-consciousness and shyness, she's very playful!

Thoughtful - "..."
Thinking, this girl is almost always thinking about something! Her mouth is usually closed. Perhaps it's a psychic thing or just a her thing, but she isn't the biggest talker there is and would much rather sit and think somewhere. She's meditative, reflective, often absorbed in some idea or emotion. Though she's a baby and she's usually too scared to explore, she has a secret thirst for adventure and she's actually quite curious. She's also fascinated by simple things, and finds herself over thinking the meaning of...everything. (Sometimes this is a good thing!) Not only is she thoughtful in a thinking way, but she's also thoughtful in an emotional way. She shows consideration for the needs of others, and most likely will try her best to make everyone else happy and content. She's very charitable and neighborly, even if you're not of her Region! 

Natural - "Don't be embarrassed. We're all cats, aren't we?"
This trait is a little hard to explain, but Fiorella will never, ever ridicule you or make you feel embarrassed. Not purposely, of course! Any slip up, slip of the tongue, messy pelt day, or...bodily function will not faze Fiorella, because it's just natural. Fiorella is also not afraid to get dirty, she can play in the mud all day if she would be allowed to. She's also not afraid of getting wet, and from the way the East Region weather is behaving, it's probably a good thing! She just doesn't really mind anything, and you can feel free to act like yourself around Fiorella. She is accepting of all. She's relaxed, guileless, modest, unpresuming, and sincere. Even though she's natural to the behavior of others, she's actual pretty self conscious and doesn't like her natural self. 

Easily Impressed - "Gracious! Your spells are so neat and dazzling!"
Fiorella is really impressed by just about anything, being childish and naive. She loves watching other felines show off their spells, and she doesn't get jealous of them. She gets astounded by them, she's wonderstruck by the simplest things and she really finds the small things in life beautiful. A big explosive cloud, a pretty light spell, a sudden ray of sunshine, a flock of birds flying through the sky, she finds herself struck with wonder and enchanted by all of these things and more. This trait of hers is very good, it makes other cats feel better about themselves and she's very good at flattering others. She likes to flatter others as well, and compliments are one of the best things she can do.

Loyal - "N-No! I'll stay with y-you."
Even if Fiorella is scared, hurt, and falling down, she will still stick by her friends! (This may be because of Fiorella's low confidence, or maybe it's just a part of her good nature. Either way, it's a good trait of hers!) She's loyal through and through, and she's also very generous and protective. For example, if one of her friends was threatened with attack, even if Fiorella was very scared, the she-cat would stand in front of her friend in defense of her! This is one trait of Fiorella's personality that overpowers her normal coward-like nature! No, Fiorella will stand by her good friends and girlfriends!

Shy - ".....H-hi..."
This is a biggee on her part, she is sooo shy. Quiet as can be, soft-spoken, and meek as a mouse! She finds meeting new cats just so scary, and she's about as nervous as can be, even with cats she does know! She's reserved around cats, and that's why she says she prefers the company of animals rather than the company of other cats (because it's kind of true). She's self-effacing to the max! Just like most shy felines, however, she will open up to you with time. You just can't rush her or scare her off, she has to be treated with patience just like she'll treat you with!

Timid - "Eeeeeek! Oh gosh, oh gosh!"
Anything will scare her. She's a 'fraidy cat, and more of a mouse than a cat, in fact! She lacks both courage and confidence, and she is easily frightened. Loud noises? Scary. Violence? Scary. Storms? Scary. Dark powered felines? Scary. This spineless young lady will run away and hide at the slightest rustle in the weeds or shake of a bush, especially in unfamiliar territory-- then she's really jumpy! But she's such a faint-hearted feline that she hardly ever even strays away from the East Region, being afraid of being attacked by another. Rookies probably have a stronger heart and more confidence than she does, and that's pretty sad. Another reason why she could never be a Hunter-- Hunters have to defend their prey, and that means they have to fight, meet new cats, and face each other! Terrifying! She couldn't be a Warrior either, and she's squeamish too, so no Healer rank either. Little animals are quiet and won't hurt her, so that's her preferred company and her main source of comfort, the creatures she tames. She's just a sad, scared, apprehensive Tamer.

Self-Conscious - "My dumb freckles and curled tail...how will anyone ever like me?"
There probably won't be a day where Fiorella doesn't have a self-conscious or self pitying thought in her mind. She simply doesn't like herself. She doesn't like her short fur, and she doesn't like her face freckles, and she doesn't like her random spots, or ringtail, or...you get it. Her self-consciousness is a good-ish thing, because it encourages her to take better care of herself (and she does-- her fur is always shiny, her teeth are clean and white, her claws are dirtless...), but it's mainly a bad thing for it prevents her from doing a lot of things! This is one of the drawbacks of getting close to her-- she might dump her complaints about her fur and body and all that stuff on you! If you yell at her about it, it won't make her feel any better, but she will stop talking about herself to you. She's awkward, too, and often fails at social interaction with any cat or...anything that isn't a small mammal that she can tame. 

Untrusting - "Er...I d-don't think I should go with you, I'm sorry..."
Now, she has to force herself to be untrusting most of the time. She's a rather innocent young lady, but with constant warnings from her older siblings and her father on how bad-natured and dangerous other cats can be, she sort of knows not to trust strangers. (The phrase "don't talk to strangers" never quite stuck in her head though.) All the bad things she's heard about all sorts of cats makes her unwilling to approach new cats, in fear that they'll hurt her or something. She kind of wants to talk and meet new cats...but her shyness and fearful nature on top of being suspicious just holds her back. She's...very conflicted, you see.

Unforgiving - "I'm sorry. After you hit me with your spell that one time...I-I just won't trust you again."
She has shaky confidence, and very fragile trust. Once that trust is broken and once you cross her waaaay too many times, she won't forgive you. Even if she wants to forgive you, she won't. Even if she wants to trust you, she just won't. Rarely does she ever forgive someone wholly, because usually she won't. You have to be pretty patience and steadily kind to her or have some kind of magic to make that happen.

Passive Aggressive - "Oh...I don't care."
Fiorella puts the 'passive' in 'passive aggressive'! When she has to put up with something she really doesn't like, or she has to do something she doesn't like, Fiorella will show disrespect and displeasure to others...by hiding it as forgetfulness! Or Fiorella will also act like it was an innocent mistake. She's not comfortable being openly aggressive, so Fiorella tries to get what she wants under the guise of still trying to please others. (Fio actually does want to please others, but she also wants her way, so her passive aggression is really subtle and she tries to be as quiet with it as possible!) Even though Fiorella does this quietly, it still gets annoying. Fio doesn't want it to be, but it is!

More personality traits will be discovered and added in time through roleplay. 

-BODY-

Fur - Her fur is short, Fiorella is short haired-- but it's soft, she always grooms herself! (Probably out of nervousness.) Her fur isn't flat and dry, it feels like soft plush velvet, and it's very shiny for being short. Her fur gets a little bit more longer when you get to her tail, but it doesn't get too long. Fiorella wishes she has long fur however, and completely envies the felines in her Region that have thick long hair, especially when they can braid their hair or style it in some way. Her fur doesn't shed, at least, and water slips off of it easily.

Pattern - Fiorella has an odd coat, that she wishes had some pattern, but it really doesn't. She has a lighter underbelly, lighter tail tip, a lighter chest, a lighter face, darker ears, dark circles around her eyes, freckles around her cheeks and mouth, and random spots. One spot is on her shoulder, two spots are on her thigh, and on her other side she has one long splash of dark brown on her flank.

Color - Her lightest fur color is in her ears, on her stomach, chest, face, and tip of her tail-- it's a light brown color, a sand brown. Her base fur color is a coyote brown, and the darkest color of hers is the dark brown on her spots, nose, and ears, a pure russet brown. Along with her face freckles, which are the same color. Her eye color is a beautiful golden yellow, the only thing she finds that she likes about herself. She often tries to find things to match with her eyes, but because she uses Psychic spells so much and her eyes turn a strong pink color, it's kind of a waste. But when you see her naturally, you'll see she matches well and is very pretty. Her teeth are very white, almost always clean, and her claws are a darker color. Naturally dark, you know, not from dirt or anything! She also has thick dark brown circles around her eyes, kind of like a mask, or eyeliner.

Physical - I'll point out the obvious first-- Fiorella has a ringtail! She doesn't like it, but it's there. It's not always curled over her back, she can put her tail lower to the ground, but it's always curled in some way. The bones in her tail aren't fused, and her tail's motion isn't restricted in anyway! The cool part is the that muscles in her tail are larger and stronger than cats with normal tails or cats without ringtails. She puts more use into her tail than other cats as well-- she uses it for balance by holding it over her back (this isn't all the time, only when she's relaxed and confident...which isn't too often), but she curls it around branches and trees to slow her descent. Her body type is muscular, lean, kind of Oriental, and her back is very flexible and long. Her tail is almost of equal length to her back, it's just not too noticeable, as she curls her tail. Her feet aren't the smallest, but not huge (unlike the way she sees them), they're a medium size. She also has long webbed toes that spread wide when she's climbing. It's actually kind of funny. Her head is a triangular shape and she has short hair (that she despises), and her ears are also slender and pointed. She has big eyes, often wide from being so scared all the time, and though she has short hair, she has rather long black eyelashes, highlighting her golden eyes. 

Walk - Maybe it's because of her ringed tail, but her walk is bouncy and she has a little swing. Her tail is bouncing, her accessories are bouncing, and she walks in rather long steps. It's not a confident strut or anything, but a shy, charming walk. 

Accessories - Fiorella has a little stringy flower crown, made from stripped willow branch bark and weaved white and yellow round flowers. She uses the flower crown as sort of a...distraction from her lack of long hair. She also has stringy flower bracelets, and then, of course, there's her ability stone necklace. Made from the flexible branch of the willow tree, there's three out of four of her ability stones tied to her necklace....one of them being her main ability stone! She purposely mixed up her ability stone with her other Psychic stones so cats wouldn't target her stone in attempt to break it!

Scent - She dries to stay as dry as possible in the East Region (though it's not going too well), so she may smell like...wet. She smells natural.

Voice - Fiorella's voice is unintentionally sing-songy, medium in pitch and soft, trilling. Her voice is slightly raspy, however, but not in a terrible way.

Fiorella's History

Lineage:
Mother - Pollyanna, a clever Southern ringtailed Hunter with a dusty brown pelt, freckles, and sharp yellow eyes. Mud Elemental.
Father - Estcott, a grudgeful, strange, and paranoid Eastern Hunter with thick grayish brown tabby stripes. Psychic Elemental.
Sister - Honorina, a serious and rather angry but protective spitting image of her mother, with a lighter pelt but same eyes. Mud Elemental.
Brother(s) - Sallford and Selden, twins except for Sallford's curled tail. Grayish brown tabby stripes and lighter underbelly. Sallford is a Mud Elemental and Seldford is a Psychic Elemental.

Orientation - Straight(?) -- she's never done anything sexual or romantic before due to her shyness and timidity, so no one knows for sure.

Looking For - Fiorella is hardly picky at all. She believes that she's not attractive and she would be thrilled if anyone liked her! She does, however, have one thing she's looking for, body wise. Well, fur wise. She loves long fur, she loves it so much. Long, thick fur would send her into infatuation, regardless of who the feline was.

-ROLEPLAY SAMPLE-

Such a black night, such a scary night, this night was. Naturally, this would be the night that Glendower would be stuck with.

She was around the forest where the Northwest Cave was, collecting the herbs that grew in forests specifically; she found lots of borage, dock, stringing nettle, and thyme, which was a good thing. But the forest was hard for the Healer to travel through, and she took a nap under a nice birch tree-- and she took a little too long of a nap, and by the time she woke up, it was nighttime already.

"No! No! I'm always back by sundown, by the evening; now it's the middle of the night! I'm...I'm gonna die...!" Glenda thought to herself with wide blue eyes, trembling as she looked out into the darkness. So she took off- she had to leave the herbs behind, but she ate all the thyme to prevent from freaking out too bad and using High Winds. And the forest is where she was now, traveling a little too west, stumbling through the thick vegetation.

Quirks-
She talks to her Tunnler companion, Shadwell, more than she talks to real cats.
Her tail is so strong that she can carry Shadwell and other companions on it.
She will not kill her own prey. She tries to fill up on berries, and if she's still hungry, she'll eat fresh kill.
Fiorella refuses to eat mice. It's hard for her to even look at one it's dead.
Fiorella is scared of toms, but she's still sexually attracted to them.
She has a strong faith in good spirits, and believes in them deeply.
Fiorella is a great climber, and you'll often see her in willow trees relaxing.
Fiorella also likes watching Shadwell dig, and using her Projection ability, she can see the underground tunnels.
